North West came alive with energy, ambition, and a renewed sense of possibility as South Africa’s fibre network giant, Net Nine Nine hosted a dynamic Entrepreneurs and Employment Information Day aimed at empowering local residents to participate meaningfully in the business world.
The rapidly growing telecommunications company recently made its mark in Nelspruit, where it conducted a successful recruitment drive aimed at empowering local residents with employment opportunities.

It’s beautiful! The reception was very nice, the people have been waiting for us to come to their homes – it’s a historical moment. We’ve created employment to the young ones in Umlazi. They’re the ones who build the infrastructure, and the taxi operators have welcomed us by offering their workspace to brand and supply their clients with internet while waiting for their next journey. We were welcomed here despite the notion that it’s a difficult, politically challenged area.
