Now, the two partnering companies are giving deserving Grade 12 learners an opportunity to enjoy the joy, glamour, and confidence of their matric dance while walking on a red carpet.

Zen Unam Beauty, proudly sponsored by Net Nine Nine, is celebrating the 2025 matric dance season by giving back to the community in a meaningful way.

The initiative, led by Sibonisile Mlobeli, Founder and CEO of Zen Unam Beauty, will provide 10 less fortunate matric students from Bekkersdal, Kagiso, and Westonaria communities where Net Nine Nine delivers internet services – with a full matric dance makeover.

For Sibonisile, this project is deeply personal: “I never had the opportunity to attend my own matric dance because my parents couldn’t afford it.”

“That experience has stayed with me, and today, I want to make sure another child doesn’t miss out on their special day. Makeup makes me happy and boosts confidence, and through this initiative, I want to help these learners step into their new chapter feeling beautiful, celebrated, and proud,” she shared.

Matric dances are a milestone moment for South African youth, symbolising both the end of their high school journey and the beginning of new opportunities.

However, for many learners from disadvantaged backgrounds, the costs make it impossible to participate fully in this once-in-a-lifetime event.

This collaboration reflects Net Nine Nine’s commitment to community upliftment while reinforcing its role as a company that goes beyond providing internet services.
