Win R40 000 worth of Exposure & Recording!
We’re looking for talented South African’s to add their flavour to our music video.
1.) Watch the Net Nine Nine Official Music video on YouTube, or in the iframe above.
2.) Like and subscribe to the video on Youtube.
3.) Pay special attention to the section from the time stamp 2:07 – 2:40. (this will be the portion you are recording!)
4.) Open TikTok and find the “Duet Competition Song” on the Net Nine Nine TikTok profile.
5.) In TikTok open the menu dropdown and click the “Duet Button”.
6.) Record your Duet by adding your own lyrics and flavour to the song. during the section from: “2:07 – 2:40”.
7.) Add the caption: “@netnineninesa” & Hashtag: #Duetwithnet99 to the video.
8.) Post your recorded song publicly on TikTok.
9) Share the recorded video with you’re friends, family and following.
1.) Top 10 finalists will be notified by the Net Nine Nine team via the TikTok Dm’s.
2.) Each of the 10 versions will be posted on the Net Nine Nine YouTube channel.
3.) Each “like” and “view” on your video on the Net Nine Nine Youtube channel will count as 1 point. (1 x Like = 1 point, 1 x View = 1 point.)
4.) The Video with the most points by the 30th of September 2026 wins.
NB: 10 x finalists will be selected by Net Nine Nine.
1.) Net Nine Nine staff or their direct family members will be excluded from the winners selection.
2.) All music / lyrics must be family friendly, any music that contains swearing or explicit language will be excluded from winners selection.
3.) Your recorded piece may be in any style or genre but must conform to the beat.
4.) The video with the most points by the 30th of September 2026 wins the competition.
5.) All lyrics must be original and must not be pauperised, Use of Autotune is not allowed and may disqualify your entry.
6.) The theme of the piece is: “Be a Hero”, “Connectivity matters”, “Better opportunity in South Africa”, or “Digital Freedom”
6.) All lyrics / music / video entered into the competition becomes property of Net Nine Nine, and no royalties or damages may be claimed against Net Nine Nine for use of the lyrics, video or music.
7.) Net Nine Nine is not responsible for any damage or loss caused by this competition, prize allocation or redemption of the prize.
8.) Net Nine Nine reserves its rights to extend or cancel this competition without prior notice.
9.) Net Nine Nine reserves the right to hide, delete, or share any comments made against any competition posts.

1.) Winners will receive R20 000 credit with “IZZY BABY Recoding Studio’s” towards recording a “single” one an original track.
2.) Winners will also receive R20 000 towards playing 20 second snip-it’s of the song to be played on a popular radio station/s, selected by Net Nine Nine.
3.) Winners will be selected by the number of likes and views: 1 Like = 1 point, 1 View = 1 point, the video with the most points wins.

5.) Top 10 selected video’s will be announced on 15th September 2026, and the video’s will be posted onto the Net Nine Nine YouTube channel.
6.) Likes and views will be counted from 15 September 2026 – 30 September 2026.
