HIGH ACHIEVERS IN WELKOM!
As part of its commitment to advancing education and fostering discipline in the classroom, CYNK recognised 25 schools across the Free State, with more than 125 learners and teachers honoured for their academic achievements during the High Achievers Awards ceremony.
The glamorous awards ceremony took place at the Toronto Hall in Welkom on 11 September 2025, an initiative hosted in collaboration with the Pule Maile Foundation.
The celebrated learners who demonstrated dedication to their studies were selected by their school in the past two terms, as well as the past education year, with recipients awarded special trophies designed to motivate and empower them as they prepare for their final Grade 12 examinations.
MEDALS TO ENCOURAGE EDUCATION!
Their teachers were not forgotten, as they too left with medals hanging over their neck to encourage them to continue working hard in producing future leaders.
The event was graced by key community leaders, including Tswelopele Local Municipality Mayor, Cllr. Kenalemang Rose Phukuntsi, who delivered a message of encouragement to the learners who listened attentively.
Net Nine Nine Event Specialist, Nomvula Mosiea-Tiya, said: “By recognising and honouring top academic achievers, CYNK aims to highlight how access to reliable connectivity and digital opportunities can unlock excellence, resilience, and brighter futures for learners, their schools, and their communities.”

‘THANK YOU, NET99!’
Said Maile: “We would like to thank Net99. This is the first time something like this has ever happened in Welkom. Those who doubted Net99 are now eating a humble pie. I’ve received a lot of calls from community councilors who expressed their admiration of the work that we’ve done at Toronto Hall.”
CYNK, a leading integrated holding company established through the strategic merger of influential technology and investment enterprises, continues to champion educational development as part of its broader mission to drive sustainable growth and social impact.
