NET99 EMPOWERS EDUCATORS!
Net Nine Nine mission to bridge the digital divide is now on overdrive with TM Letlhake Secondary School having been the latest recipients of the gift of a lifetime in Simunye, Westonaria on Friday, 29 August 2025.
A donation of 15 brand-new Laptops to TM Letlhake Secondary School staff, who led the Matric class of 2023 to be the second best in the Rand-West City, will enhance the advancement of connectivity at the school, with educators armed with the latest technology.
They improved their matric pass rate in the past years from 38.36% to 68.38%, boasting a staggering 30.03% hike.
Net Nine Nine, one of South Africa’s leading fibre network companies, has once again demonstrated its commitment to bridging the digital divide in education, as it happened in Empangeni with Wood and Raw Primary School having benefited from the company’s Corporate Service Investment.
On a special occasion that attracted different heads of departments within the education sector, all gathered in Westonaria to bare witness to the donation of the 15 laptops to the senior TM Letlhake Secondary School staffers.

NET99’S GENEROUS DONATION!
This generous initiative comes after Net Nine Nine previously connected the school with free 1Gbps high-speed internet, ensuring that both teachers and learners have access to reliable digital resources.
By providing laptops directly to the staff, the company is empowering educators with the tools they need to prepare lessons, conduct research, and integrate technology into the classroom with greater ease.
As already alluded, this marks the second school to benefit from Net Nine Nine’s ongoing investment in education. These initiatives highlight Net Nine Nine’s vision of using technology to uplift schools and support communities that are often left behind in South Africa’s digital transformation.

PRINCIPAL ACCEPTS MOST SOUGHT AFTER PRIZES!
School principal Vuyokazi Langeni, flanked by all HOD’s, assembled at the laboratory hall where the handover took place with Net Nine Nine’s Head of Marketing, Richard Genlloud and Operations Manager Thapelo Mopaila handed over the 15 latest model laptops to loud cheers and ululations from the ground.
“This is important for us as a school. This donation is not just for TM Letlhake Secondary, but it’s all about building a nation. This will empower teachers and excite them when they think about providing improved teaching,” said Langeni.
“We believe that access to the internet must go hand in hand with access to devices. By supporting teachers, we’re investing directly in the learners’ success,” said Genlloud.

The donation is expected to enhance both learning and management at the school, setting an example of how public-private partnerships can drive educational progress.
With initiatives like these, Net Nine Nine continues to shine as a company that not only connects communities but also invests in the future of South Africa’s youth through technology.
