VISIT FROM A KING

BLESSED WITH AMATHEMBU KING’S VISIT!

It does not happen every day that a corporate like ours is visited by a King! Unless, of course, you’re serving his community with distinction and dedication.

Net Nine Nine’s Johannesburg offices were honoured to be visited by the abaThembu King, Buyelekhaya Zwelibanzi Dalindyebo KaSabata, which brought a sparkle to the normally quiet office block, and sent staff to rapture with joy and traditional greetings – CAMAGU!

CAMAGU, both a greeting and sign-off, is term frequently used by isiXhosa speakers in all situations in which the ancestors are involved; it’s meant to bless, appease, forgive, praise and to honour.

WHAT A WELCOME

King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo, straight from his Mthatha homestead in the Eastern Cape, was met with a warm welcome led by CYNK Group CEO, Albert Oosthuysen and Chief of Staff, Nicholas Thipe and Chief Operations Officer, Andrew Cohoe, and the entire executive body who formally introduced him to the dedicated staff of Net Nine Nine who serve his people with unrivaled access to the internet.

The singing and hugging showed the King that he has a home away from home here in Johannesburg.

FIBRE IN EASTERN CAPE

With Net Nine Nine fibre optic cables supplying his homestead in the Eastern Cape with powerful uncapped internet, the soft-spoken Dalindyebo KaSabata had a few words to share with individual employees – he doesn’t mind; humility is in his character.

Besides Dalindyebo KaSabata, other famous abaThembu include South Africa’s first democratic President Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, whose father was a reigning nobleman from a junior branch of the Madiba clan of Kings, and also Walter Sisulu.

BLESSED!

Net Nine Nine is truly blessed to work alongside such a steadfast community leader who makes his people his priority.

His visit was a heartfelt gesture of appreciation for the contribution that CYNK is serving the people of South Africa. We are honored to be of service!
