Ga-Rankuwa Fibre Launch

The Ga-Rankuwa fibre launch was a success and Net Nine Nine would like to thank the residents for taking part in it.

On the 08^th of July 2023 Net Nine Nine hosted an educational fibre launch day at the community sporting ground in the unit 17 area, commonly known as The Heights. The fibre launch day was focused on educating the community about the benefits of having fibre connection to your home.

For every local community, soccer is the dominating sporting activity in Ga-Rankuwa, and we took this opportunity to put together a sport tournament for the community. The day took off with a fun walk for all the community members, with the youngest participant being 9 years old and the oldest being 65 years old.

The community aerobics group which is made of mostly elderly residents came to party and it was just beautiful to watch. The day proceeded with a soup kitchen drive, nutritiously prepared, and served by the Net Nine Nine team. Ladies’ soccer and netball teams also took part in the tournament and won themselves a share of the prizes.

The team then went head-to-head with the local community councillors’ soccer team and other local teams for a four-team soccer tournament. The day was closed off by councillors whipping the Net Nine Nine team 2-0 and they walked away with whooping R…other community members also walked away with some cooler and amazing prizes for just attending the launch.

Net Nine Nine would like to urge the communities to continuously keep an eye on their socials because this is just the beginning and more is yet to come.
