Thabong School Shoe Drive.
The Net Nine Nine school shoe initiative was welcomed by learners and teachers at Adelaide Secondary School in Thabong, Free State on May 18,2023.
Through this initiative Net Nine Nine aims to drive fibre education and its benefits to the communities they serve in. The organization is a strong advocate for providing learners from economically disadvantaged households access the same opportunities as everyone else.
The day started with a fun fiber quiz and as the day progressed the learners were educated on the benefits of fibre internet at home and how they can use the internet more effectively to excel in their education and learn more about the many careers out there.
Net Nine Nine donated 250 school shoes to five different schools that were in attendance on the day and lunch packages to 300 grade 10 and 11 learners.
The community expressed gratitude to the company for their endless support and dedication to giving back to the community. One parent also stated that the fibre company never disappoints and that her children have since been enjoying being indoors since the installation of their fibre.
