Phuthaditjhaba School Shoe Drive.
Net Nine Nine in partnership with the Mokoena Foundation donated 400 pairs of school shoes to the learners of Phuthaditjhaba. The school shoe drive is an initiative that aims drive fibre education and the benefits of having fibre.
There were over 600 learners in attendance, these learners were from different secondary schools in and around Phuthadijhaba. Net Nine Nine and the Mokoena Foundation donated lunch packs and school shoes to the learners.
“The key to economic equality is the freedom of access to information”, said Richard Genlloud (Head of Marketing at Net Nine Nine). As Net Nine Nine we believe in giving back to the community and through the school shoe drives and fibre roadshows we are able to not only cater for the needs of our community but to also expose them to opportunities and skills that they can use to elevate themselves.
It was a day filled with fun and a lot of learning. The learners participated in fun fibre games and quizzes with prizes won by the participants. The community of Phuthaditjhaba showed gratitude towards the initiative and encouraged Net Nine Nine to pour more into their community.
